EA are set to release the upgrades for their Ultimate Teams in February.
For those of us who play EA Sports’ FIFA, we are constantly looking to the future to see when our players get their upgrades and who to look out for.

There is nothing more frustrating than when your team is doing poorly, and you just know that some of them are going to get an upgrade when EA do the updates. For example Harry Kane is all but certain to climb up the rankings after an incredible run of form that has seen him score left right and center.
Well FIFA lovers, you needn’t wait much longer. The upgrades are coming sooner than we had expected. It spells bad news for a few girlfriends around the world as EA have decided to update the game on February 13th. FullFIFA.com have reported that the upgraded players will be entering online packs from 1 p.m. Eastern Time. That should give the avid player a solid 12 hours of time to play the game and get the upgrades, before sorting themselves out for the dreaded Valentine’s day.
FullFIFA were also kind enough to give us a dummy guide to understanding the upgrades.
“The regular card located in transfer market and in your club remains the same. The in-form (IF) card only come in new packs. However, the in-forms both on the market and in the club receive a ‘live’ boost equal to that of the upgrade” – In regards to gold in forms.
“Whenever a silver player gets upgraded to a gold card, the silver IF card does not get upgraded. For example, if Harry Kane gets an upgrade from a 68 to 76 gold card, his 71 IF card remains the same.” – in regards to silver in forms.
I for one am very excited about the updates, only five days to go before you can improve your team.
