Hotfix 2.4.1 went live on November 5, 2026. Restart the client so the patch downloads before your next Topside drop. The notes hit extract rules, Ballistic Gondola exits, indoor movement, Xbox stability, and a new language option—changes that reshape how you move, extract, and bank ARC Raiders Items on a normal raid.
This is a fix drop, not a content update. No new weapons or maps ship with it.
| Area | What broke | What 2.4.1 does |
| Seed Vault extract | Could enter while closed | Closed gate stays closed |
| Ballistic Gondola | Exit could leave you invisible | Exit restores normal visibility |
| Residential buildings | Invisible collision snags | Several indoor collision cases fixed |
| Xbox | Crash stacks | Several crash causes fixed |
| Language | — | Ukrainian added as supported locale |
Restart First, Then Confirm You Are on 2.4.1
- Quit the game fully (not just back to menu).
- Relaunch and wait until the update finishes before you queue.
- Run one short session in a quiet POI—residential block or a known Gondola stop—before a long loot route.
If you load mid-session without the restart, you can still sit on the pre-fix build while squadmates already run the patched rules. Confirm Seed Vault behaves as a closed gate when the extract is shut, and confirm you stay visible after a Gondola exit.
Seed Vault Extract: Closed Means Closed
Players could enter the Seed Vault extract while it was closed. That path is fixed. A closed Seed Vault extract no longer lets you walk in as if the gate were open.
- Read the live open window before you commit the Vault as your exit.
- If the Vault reads closed, rotate to your backup extract—do not probe for a soft entry.
- Squads that timed entries around the old soft-open behavior need a new clock: wait for a real open state, or leave through another extract with the same loot plan.
Failed or late extracts still burn kits and stash space. When you refill between sessions, players who buy ARC Raiders Materials for workshop crafts should still bank finished crafts only after a clean extract under the patched gate rules—closed Vault access is no longer a workaround for a missed timer.
Ballistic Gondola: Exit Without Going Invisible
Exiting the Ballistic Gondola could leave a Raider invisible. That exit state is fixed. After you step off the Gondola, other players should see you normally again.
- Ride for reposition, exit, then fight or loot in the open.
- Do not plan a push around staying unreadable after dismount.
- Clear the landing zone before you start looting nearby containers—third-party fights now see you on exit.
For loot runs that chain Gondola hops between caches, treat every dismount as a visible arrival.
Residential Buildings: Invisible Collision Cleanup
Several invisible collision issues inside residential buildings are fixed. Those were the snags on walls that were not rendered—the kind that stop a sprint through a hallway or trap you on a doorway while a fight closes in.
- Move along the visible layout: doors, stairs, and room breaks.
- If you still hit a soft wall in one building, note the map and room, then leave through a clear exit.
- Do not force a glitch corner—the patch covers several of those collisions, not every map tile.
Xbox Crash Fixes
Several issues that caused crashes on Xbox are fixed. The notes do not list each crash trigger by name, so the player check is practical.
- Install 2.4.1 and restart.
- Run your usual raid length on Xbox.
- Watch for the same hard exits you saw before.
If a crash still hits, record console model, what you were doing (Gondola exit, residential fight, extract queue), and whether the squad was mid-loot. That log is what you need if the same stack returns after the hotfix.
Ukrainian Language Support
Hotfix 2.4.1 adds Ukrainian as a supported language.
On PC, set language from the game’s properties language tab in your store client.
Restart so the locale loads.
Confirm menus and supported UI strings show Ukrainian before you queue a long session.
What This Changes on Your Next Raid
Seed Vault: closed extract means rotate—timing is strict again.
Gondola: exits no longer erase your model; clear landings as if you are fully visible.
Residential: indoor routes should snag less on invisible geometry.
Xbox: run a stability pass on your own hardware after restart.
Locale: Ukrainian speakers can switch after restart.
Load for the patched rules: bring a backup extract when Vault is in the plan, clear Gondola landings as visible, and run indoor routes against the walls you can see. Bank ARC Raiders Items only after the extract that is actually open, and keep workshop inputs stocked so a missed Vault window does not idle your craft queue.
Queue one verification raid after the restart, then return to your normal loot loop with the new extract and Gondola rules locked in.
